Box Elder Bowl with Inlay

The pale color of the wood highlights the red coloring radiating on one side of the bowl. I did an inlay of lapis lazuli on some small cracks in the red area. This bowl is fairly light and thin walled. 10 1/4" wide at the top with the base 6" wide and standing 3" tall. A water-based polyurethane gives it a satin finish.
