Mesquite Bandsaw Box

This two drawer box shows off the interesting properties of this wood native the the southwest U.S. The slanted top was left natural showing the texture of the wood under the bark.
You can really get a feel for how different the density of the wood is as you go from the outer edge of the tree, at the top of the box, to the dark dense heartwood at the bottom.
This piece stands 8“ tall at the back and just under 7“ tall at the front. It is 4 7/8 “ wide and just over 5“ deep. The two drawers have a felt bottom.

Rustic Cedar Bandsaw Box
This two drawer bandsaw box was cut from half a log, leaving the natural bark in place. It's stands about 9 1/4" wide, 4 1/2" high and 4" deep. The Walnut Oil finish helps bring out the beautiful grain.

Honey Locust Bandsaw Box
Honey Locust is a dense wood that has a beautiful gain pattern and interesting texture, making it almost worth the shoulder injury I inflicted on myself getting the darn log out of my car . . . a story for another day. The Walnut Oil finish enhances the grain and the bottom of the drawers are lined with felt. This box stands 6 to 6 1/2" high, is 5 3/4 wide at the base and is 3 1/2" deep with the drawers 1" and 1 1/2" deep.

Cedar Bandsaw Box
This two drawer bandsaw box has very pretty grain patterns with a knot on the front of the bottom drawer, the red cedar is laced with streaks that are almost white. It stands about 8" high, is 5" wide at the top and 5 1/2 " wide at the bottom and 3 1/4" deep. The drawers are are about 2 1/2" deep with the bottoms lined with felt. The Walnut Oil finish help accentuate the gain.

Three Drawer Band Saw Box
This three drawer box stands about 8" high and is about 4" wide at the base. There a a couple of knots in the grain pattern, one near the top and the other on the bottom drawer. Speaking of drawers, they have felt inside, on the bottom, to cushion whatever valuables you decide to keep in them.

Heart Band Saw Box
This is called a Bandsaw Box because, well, it's made on a bandsaw. I never said I was clever when it came to naming things. Anyway, this cute box has a drawer that is lined with black felt and it has a little heart shaped pull. It sits about 5" high and about 2 1/2" deep and has beautiful grain and knots. SOLD
